Prawn and Crab Cob Loaf

Ingredients

  • 1 cob loaf
  • 250g cream cheese
  • 250g sour cream
  • 1/4 cup grated cheese
  • 1/4 cup sweet chilli sauce
  • 1 tbsp French onion soup
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives
  • 200g crab meat
  • 300g raw prawns (cleaned)

Garnish

  • 6x cooked prawns (optional)
  • 1 tbsp diced chives

MEthod

  1. Slice the top off the cob and remove the bread (by hand- gently tear it out) on the inside. Save the removed bread to serve at the end
  2. Chop the prawns into small pieces and place into a bowl with the crab meat
  3. Add in the remaining ingredients to the prawns and crab and stir well
  4. Pour dip into cavity of cob loaf
  5. Replace the lid on the cob and wrap the whole loaf in foil
  6. Place into a pre heated oven at 150 degrees and bake for 60-90 minutes
  7. Allow to cool for 5 minutes, sprinkle the extra chives in the centre and serve with the reserved bread and fresh prawns
